Cuvée “Petram” is a selection of vines planted on soils dating back to the Portland period. This very rare and very particular soil gives it all its minerality (flinty notes).
– Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon
– Soil: Recent limestone composed of 80% thin “Caillottes”
– Tasting notes: It shows backbone, and has an aroma structure typical of a great Pouilly-Fumé wine.
– Wine-making process: With natural yeast, matured on fine lees for about 6 months in stainless steel vats. Can be kept for 2 to 3 years.
The organic growing method increases the soil value and wine concentration, thanks to a deep rooting, while enhancing soil biodiversity.
